Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking will be at the European Parliament from 28-30 June, showcasing key innovations from the Clean Sky 2 programme and demonstrating how sustainable technologies can power a climate-neutral future.
Technologies on display will include the Ultra-High Propulsive Efficiency (UHPE) open fan, a model aircraft demonstrating how hybrid distributed propulsion would work, an interactive globe highlighting the effects of the introduction of the new sustainable aircraft and their environmental impact, and a presentation of the Next Generation Multifunctional Fuselage, which will dramatically reduce aircraft weight.
The exhibition will be officially opened this evening at an event hosted by MEP Marinescu, the EPP Group Coordinator for transport policies.
You can find our stand this week in the ASP building on the third floor, near the audio-visual centre. We’re joined by experts from Airbus, Avio Aero, Pipistrel, Safran, DLR and Leonardo who will be on hand to explain our cutting-edge technologies which will power the next generation of sustainable aircraft.
Come and visit us! We would be delighted to show you the pathway to a climate-neutral aviation sector in Europe.
